Photosho Magazine Issue #1 will hit the shelves in 4-6 weeks but maybe you should just pre-order your copy now. Why all the fuss? Well, not only is my photo, "Red Boots" appearing the magazine, but you will also save $2 of the list price and help kickoff a worthy independent publication that showcases Canadian artists. The red boots are those of Canadian singer/songwriter's Katie Ormiston and they serve as an icon of the band, Pawnshop Diamond. As you may have guessed by now, Pawnshop Diamond is a client of Waxy Photography. On January 25, 2007, I was on hand at Vancouver's Railway Club to photograph the indie band's live performance during their self-titled CD release party.
