Tonight begins the 4th Annual International Rueda de Casino Event, Cuba Baila! As the official photographer, Waxy Photography will be on hand to capture the excitement of the Cuban Carnaval.

The competition at the 2006 salsa event was sizzling hot, but this year's proves to be even more electrifying with teams coming from all over the Americas to compete for the winning prize. Events are taking place at the Scotia Bank Dance Centre and the Empire Landmark Hotel in downtown Vancouver. More information can be found at www.dancerueda.com.

Pictured is Grupo America from Vancouver, who was last year's winning team. They didn't have to travel very far for their $1000 cash prize, but they sure moved their feet a lot to win. The second and third place teams were the all women's ¡TIMBEA! from San Francisco, California and the smoking SALSAtlanta from Atlanta, Georgia.
