Last Friday, Urban Mixer hosted a dazzling party at the swank OPUS Hotel in Vancouver’s Yaletown. The sold-out event was themed after Sector 17 -- the most cosmopolitan district in Chandigarh, India. Waxy Photography, hired by Urban Mixer President Raj Taneja, was on hand to capture the night’s energy.

The party kicked-off with cocktails and a VIP reception, colourful saree-clad hostesses, and yogis and yoginis demonstrating their art. The event’s host was Urban Landscape’s Fred Lee, and included the sensational singer, Elise Estrada, among others. Proceeds from the social mixer benefited the UNICEF Unite for Children, United against AIDS Campaign.
